Turns out having a whole set of exercise equipment just a few feet away from my hotel room is working out pretty well. Also, HOLY HELL that elliptical burns a lot of calories. Between 30 minutes on the elliptical and another 30 minutes on the stationary bike this morning I knocked out 537 calories! My arms and abs were a little sore still, so I didn’t do any more pushups or sit-ups yet, but I did find out that the scale in the fitness center actually seems to be pretty close to my scale at home. When I left on Sunday, that morning my weight was 245.4, but that’s weighing myself in nothing but my boxers. So this morning when I jumped on the scale with shorts, a t-shirt and socks on also, my weigh-in was 245.5… seems like it all adds up to me! Pun intended. I”ll take it!
For the afternoon, I came back to my hotel from the office and did another 20 minutes on the elliptical for another 1.5 miles and 262 calories! I even got myself to the next level on Fitocracy! Woo-hoo!!
For the evening… I’m headed out to the city of San Francisco to meet up with an old friend and check out the city. A well deserved reward for a solid day of working out!
